Channel 99 is our unauthorized frequency, a place where The City collides with the stories that shaped an entire generation. Hip-hop. Anime. Graffiti. Arcade culture. Kung fu films. Bootleg DVDs. Comic pages folded inside backpacks. Mixtapes passed from hand to hand. Cultures that weren’t supposed to intersect, but somehow became one language.

Inspired by different neighborhoods, different frequencies, and different moments after dark, each release captures a unique transmission from New York. Some signals are loud. Others are hidden. But they’re all connected.

The collection reimagines familiar worlds through an FKONYC lens, creating original conversations between legendary music and iconic animation without simply repeating what already exists. They’re remixes born from memory, not copies.
